Future ranges

Postby Sev » Tue Nov 18, 2008 9:38 am

I know warlord don't want to give away their game plan, but I couldn't resist this plea after reading the forum heading. Please say the phrase Bunker Hill to Balaclava means nothing. The Crimea wouldn't be an era I was immediately drawn to, however lots of plastic cavalry and artillery could put the Charge of the Light Brigade within my grasp and I can't resist temptation.

Please help a compulsive collector by telling us you really have no plans to do this.

yours in desperation

John

Sorry, I can't deny we're going to be brining out many more periods - some of which will be unexpected...

Cheers,

Paul

That's probably what's needed to get knowledge of future ranges from Paul! Smile

Phew, glad I reread this, I was initially worried that extalent show wannabe Chico had caused a war, it has been a long day at work. Now I merely have another war to read up on. Don't think from my initial research if I will be encouraging Warlord in this.

On the Crimea war, I really don't want any models producing, even I can recognise when I'm in danger of going to far, my wallet and marriage wouldn't survive the attempt to reconustrct it. It doesn't bear thinking about, I'd need a really big table, probably have to go in the lounge, after taking out everything else (except possibly a small sound system to play appropriate music, maybe 1812?), off table mustering point in the conservatory (note to self not the summer, plastic melts in there if it gets really sunny..........

Some ranges that would be really nice, bar those that have alread been mentioned.

-Age of sail plastic multipart ships.

-Ancient Greek hoplite.

-Add on to the Victix miniatures, artillery and cavalry plastics

These would be nice.

By authority of the Ordo Lupus.

As a renaissance gamer I'd like to add that I welcome the addition of the ECW/TYW range, gives me a way to use To The Banners in the way it's author intended! Personally I'd like to see hard plastic Landsknechts at some point, a box with pikes and a second box filled with arquebusiers. Don't see it happening in my lifetime but I'd love it if it did.

Whatever, keep up the good work lads.Cool

Oh, and Landsknechts next time, yeah? Wink
