Personalities ?

Postby Coenus » Mon Apr 06, 2009 5:22 am

Just wondering if apart from the more famous Personalities of the wars such as Rupert, Cromwell and Fairfax etc that you plan to add the range. We will see such Commanders as Henry Ireton, George Goring, John Lambert, Prince Maurice, Sir Marmaduke Langsdale, Sir John Meldrum and Sir Charles Lucas amongst others included in the range of figures ?

Can we have a Spencer Compton (Earl of Northampton) too please?

Robert Devereaux and George Lisle would be good too. Oh and Sir Arthur Hasslerig with his Lobsters please.

Personalities are OK but don't neglect characters such as scouts, camp followers, snipers, ranters, siege engineers etc., etc., etc., which add so much interest to ECW armies.

You've made my day Paul.

If you also produce an engineer in the type of heavy armour that's on display in The armouries in Malta I'll be ecstatic!! BTW has anyone any info on the use of hand held steel siege shields (try saying that after a couple of Strongbows!) - there's one on display in Warwick Castle which looks as if it was knocked up by a local blacksmith - I would be very interested.

You can never have enough ECW characters!!

Is that none reponse to my question a”no” to the famous Officer Personalities ? It's understandable if it's too early to say though.

But I just hope we don't get the Sid James's Cromwell, a Bernard Bresslaw Fairfax and Mike the Magician Witchfinder then.. As we did for the Romans range in their Emperors .Wink

HI Coenus,

No, it's not a no - we've said before that we're going to do a full range for Pike and HSotte so expect everything you'd expect as well as some stuff you wouldn't!

With any new range there will be some relewases that are higher priority than others but rest assured we'll be getting around to stuff like this before too long.

And Fairfax is clearly more suitd to Jim Dale... Innocent

Okay, third time trying to reply to this post - t'interweb is having fun with us today...

As we've said before the Pike & Shotte range will be a full range - so expect lots you would imagine to see as well as some stuff ou wouldn't expect!

As with any new range there are going to be some stuff that is higher priority but rest assured we'll get to more focused miniatures eventually.

And clearly Fairfax is going to be Jim Dale... Innocent
