Traitor's Blood (Civil War Chronicles) by Michael Arnold - has anyone read this?
“conscribe te militem in legionibus. pervagare orbem terrarium. inveni terras externas. cognosce miros peregrines. eviscera eos” ̴ “Join the legions, see the world, travel to foreign parts, meet interesting and exotic people, and disembowel them.”

You would.....

ive been wanting to pick this one up to, id like to hear some opinions also. so far my favorite ecw novels are nicholas carters shadow on the crown series.
Face the front, keep looking to the front, don't be distracted, and for pity's sake don't look back! - 18th century soldier litany - Unkown Elävät nyt, maksa myöhemmin (Live now,pay later) - Jukka Hilden
I am currently reading Stryker's second adventure, Devil's Charge. Traitor's Blood inspired me to start my Greencoat regiment Maybe not quite the ECW Sharpe but close enough for me. And ECW period novels are rare so I'll be buying his future books as well. If you got a Smart Phone why don't you download a sample? Or PM me and I'll trade in my hardback
I have read this and thought it was quite a good read (only paid £5 for 3 books from the works) I feel the same inspiration about the Greens..(Bucks Boy) haven't got round to getting the 2nd book yet. and don't worry Stryker has time to "see the light"
