Do Royalists and Scots Covenenters. they'll fight each other during either the Bishops War or the first Civil war and they can be used as a combined army during 'Civil war 2: The Monarchy strikes back'. Plus the Scots flags are relatively easy to do at home.

Covenanters are great, you can have them on the right side in 1st civil war and then getting thrashed with the losers in the 2nd and third!

I am working on a small Covenanter force to compliment my other ECW... Why not!

Another question....

Can anyone tell me what cavalry comes with the Pike & Shotte Starter Battalia? The description says "24 Cavalry" and the picture looks like a mix of Parliament Cavalry and Royalist Cavalry.

I believe they are almost identical. I have the Royalist Cavalry box, and I think the only difference might be the info insert and the banners included? The plastic sprues look identical.

Hope this helps.

No worries! I was equally bewildered when I started, and I am equally bewildered now! :? 8-)

I picked up the Warhammer ECW rules by John Stallard, and that was a huge benefit for me, it's what got me started in the period, honestly. And then all the other books and so on only added fuel to my fire. Someday, I might even get a game in!
