Sounds like it would work 5-6 wide and 2 deep. Makes sense to me!

Phew! [breathes huge sigh of relief on seeing the front cover] Well done those fine chaps ay Warlord. Sort of hoped for another Jock on the front, but dear old KG will do very nicely. The whole Tudor period is pretty tempting as well. That range of old figs the Perrys did for Foundry were pretty special. Hope there are lots of special rules for bog trotters, long bows and small Scottish nags.

Congrats. to Big Steve on the new tome. Wales win the rugby and a new rule book all in the same year :D .

Back to KG; did I ever tell you about the time I snogged Jill Walker ....

Apart from looks (which is obviously of critical importance), and pikes should look deeper than the shot component.... but is there actually any reason why the pike units have to be 3 ranks or even 4? I assume the frontage stays the same all game and the stats for units function as per all the other BP rules (ie no need to count figures etc).

Add me to the crowd of the excited masses!

I think rather than anyone speculating, and being wrong, the best solution might be to email or send a PM to Steve Morgan. It is very exciting!

Seems Steve is having trouble posting to the forum from his phone.

He'll answer your questions on Monday when he's back at Warlord HQ...
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer

Tried to preorder last night, but got "order failed" when I tried to pay via PAYPAL. Just waiting for a response from Warlord to see what I have to to next. After the lengthy wait for publication, just a further frustration to bear. Pleasantly surprised to see that I'll be able to use my Flodden armies with these rules which is a great bonus and makes the frustration a little easier to deal with. :D

Sometimes when that happens with Warlord you need to rub a bacon butty on the screen to wake it up.
