Seems Amazon will do everything they can to get you to part with your hard-earned.

March 17th is NOT the release date.

We'll be bringing you more details about the rulebook in the next couple of weeks. Until you hear it on the Warlord newsletter it's scurrilous rumourmongering!

i pre-ordered Borderlands 2 on the 360 in January because Amazon said it was out in April.

September is when it's out. Cancelled.

Besides Amazon won't have access to the front cover artwork miniature - you'll only receive that directly from us here.

The artwork is done and Wojtek starts work on the miniature next week...
Cheers,

Paul Sawyer

Are those new model army pics giving any clues as to unit/basing arrangements in the new rules? Or am i merely clutching at straws as i patiently anticipate?! :)

Try this site, it has (some) information on the 3 systems. I'm sure there are better sources out there but this probably covers the basics reasonably.

I did read the information at the link, but I don't see that is says that the English had abandoned the formation which saw a central block of pikemen flanked by "sleeves" of firearm armed troops. The post above by Chriss Ginn says that had been abandoned by the Civil Wars in favor of a deployment that distributed pike in "stands" along the line interspesed with shot.

I'm not saying he is wrong--just that I've never read that and so am wondering where I can learn more about it.

Thanks.

as a WECW player am interested in trying these. Have to say that the tactics link page doesn't support the assertion that pike with sleeves of shot were abandoned at all and the person who says they were does not seem to have been back to post anything that clarifies his assertion (as that link doesn't) so not overly helpful (and as above not something I have read in the various ECW books I have read too)
