Warlord Games Figures on BBC2

Just watching History Cold Cases on BBC2, (Thursday 9pm)they have been pushing around Warlord Games ECW Figures on a map of the seige of York. Hope you get some extra orders from this. :lol:

I saw that too. I thought the mini's looked familiar.
They had a pretty good paint job as well.

Saw that programme too, They were nicely painted from what I saw. I thought I recognised the a firelock soldier from the back of the firelocks box. (The one singularly pictured if people know what I'm on about.)

The programme itself was a bit ropey though and I thought could have been condensed into about half an hour really. It felt like the investigators were speaking scripted dialogue too. Some very questionable suppositions too.

Just checked that link, some nice minis on there but no Warlord ECWs- have the beeb nabbed them?

Hi fellas yes I went up to York and laid out some models for them they were very nice people ...

the historion is a big wargames fan..and a nice chap... published author ,even though he is a Cromwell fan...

Hope it inspires someone to get some ECW models too!!

Last weeks one was quite good i thought -but i know what you mean about the show feeling padded out!

Warlord Games figures will also be making an appearance on TG4 in Ireland during an Irish language documentary on Cromwell in Ireland.

They shot a session at our club using our figures... The Warlord Crowmwell figure has pride of place and will be getting a big close up on the telly!

Could have been edited down to 30mins but interesting programme none the less.
