Just when my wallet thought it was safe. Really nice models. I wonder if they will release an Army Painter Tartan spray with the highlanders? :)

Better than I thought they would be, but where's the doublet on the first guy, and why the re-enactors hose? Wink

That cross gartering on the hose of the figure in the plaid looks very Anglo-Saxon, the sort of thing you usually only see on English "jockney" re-enactors. Definitely not something you would find on a 17th century Scot!

'Definitely not something you would find on a 17th century Scot (sic)!' I'd like to see which references prove that; highlanders would have probably worn whatever they could get their hands on - the archaeologically recovered 'highland' clothing from this period in the National Museum of Scotland include breeches! Highland troops were nothing like the kilted Victorian fantasy warriors we get on whisky labels.

Nice figures - but can we also have some highland rabble with long knives, agricultural tools and no shields please?

Stunning models! I specially like the all action poses, these are done really well. Many figures in such dynamic poses come off just wrong in proportions these are great.
