Re: Wish List

I know there are a handful of civilians, but it would be nice to see some in 'everyday' type poses not just the angry mob ones. You know, towns people, market scenes, black smith shop & figures, shepherd and ship (I thought I saw this one somewhere), etc.

Some more thoughts inspired by the above words by Correus.

All the above would be nice, but what about some troops with tankards, seated types (mainly cavaliers  ) drinking, gaming & with a wench on knee, a tavern wench or 2, and an irate barman, some fellows in a stupor, some staggering supporting another (could double as a casualty marker) or be used with the surgeon set, a lady of the night vignette as seen in the Battle of Worcester write-up, etc - all of this could be used in scenario's where the camping/billeted army is surprised by the enemy - I'm sure the historical examples spring to mind. The new 4Ground buildings would be ideal for this, too.

The other types would be siege pioneers, miners, fellows shovelling and wheeling barrows of dirt, shot or barrel, etc and an officer or 2 with a map, pointing, using a telescope, etc.

Many of these could be used in several periods of the P&S era, so again good sellers.

Cheers, Rohan.

i would love to see some plastic multi-part highlanders, duke of argyll mini, sappers, fowling peice armed marksmen, trained band box (with buffcoates and swinefeathers for musketeers, full armour, pualdrons and burgonets for pikemen), a box set for veteren troops, a box set for levied troops (running away poses), a support pack of pikemen fighting cornish style (ditching pike and going in with sword, fists, rocks etc), a scots pikemen that looks suspiciously like me, some support packs of soldiers in diferent poses (pikemen in different orders -charge for horse, high charge, low charge, porte, order or lazy stance and musketeers with clubbed muskets, reloading, priming, etc)

and now, just to see what comments il get, id like to suggest a new colour for the covenanter box set. 2 dead crossed englishmen, on a field of dead englishmen.

hitch up my kilt? you may wish to reconsider that. the last time i did, i had to fend off the women-folk with a stick.

id also like to see an option to replace the covenanter pikemen with halberdiers to represent a halberdier unit supported by shot.
and some tartan paint would help with those plaids.

It would be useful if you could purchase extra spues of infantry command seperately. Perry do this with their plastic ranges and it is very popular.

You know them Victrix hoplite fellas? You notice how the one pose everyone uses when showcasing the range? The guy with the helmet pushed up on his head, one hand sat on the shield propped up on the ground? That sort of thing for all the ranges is always going to be a winner for me. Guys in a quiet spot, not out of the battle, but taking a breather as the action dies down a little.

Well there's the clubman picking his nose...
