Royalist Colours (Flags)

Hello,

I've been spending some of my weekend making some Royalist Flags in Photoshop , I was hoping that some of the wise, upstanding and knowledgeable members of the forum would be able to tell me if there are any corrections that need to be made.

Greens - Astley
Blues - Stradling
Reds - Hopton
Paler Blue - Charles Gerard
Yellow - Dyve

I've also attached the template file in photoshop (.psd) format, in case anyone else thinks this may be useful for them.

That is great, thanks for the template, I create all my own flags in ps so it will be useful.

Cool, I'll be interested to see any modifications you make, as I'm planning to collect "Both Sides", any additions from your good self will be appreciated.

Thanks. I'm definitely making more probably a new batch every weekend or two, and tweaking these - I'm not sure if it's my printer, but the blue's on Stradling's and Gerard's colours came out almost the same.

And I think I need to test the jpg file to make sure it prints to the correct size (if I'm going to provide a resource, even a free one, I want it to be right).

I'm building the forces that battled in and around Plymouth and the South West. Being a Plymothian and member of Sir Nicholas Slanning's Regt of foote in the SK it seemed rude not to.

I'm a midlander myself and will focus on the battles there (early war stuff mainly).

But now I have a template I can easily knock out most flags if I'm given the reference material, so if you have any suggestions or requests let me know.

I had a play and added a "silk" effect.

They look ace!
With the silk effect the only difference to my Flags of War colours I can identify is that the edges of the flame motif are crisper.
I am stunned and take my hat off, Sir.
Can you do Rupert's Blewcoats, please!!!????
