Kneadatite/GS vs ProCreate

Postby clivethecelt » Sat Aug 04, 2012 8:01 am

Probably one of these topics that could go on to the end of time, but I've been using both for moulding some pieces, and I find it very strange there's such a difference between them - even when I've played with difference mixes of hardener and resin. Is the ProCreate better for sculpting, then? I've found the green stuff better in the mould, easier to work into the nooks & crannies. What do the rest of you use?

exactly. Green Stuff started out as plumbers epoxy putty so it is better for sticking things together. The newer sculpting compounds were designed by sculptors who needed something more clay-like and less tacky. I try to use each depending on the job at hand - sticking on a pinned arm - deinitely GS.
