Dips and Primers for the Sudan

Postby muntatores » Thu Jun 21, 2012 12:42 am

I'm looking at a small unpainted British force for the Sudan.

Would the Army Painter's Wolf Grey or Uniform Grey spray primers (followed by the Strong Tone Dip)be appropriate? I've not used the AP spray primers and am in need of some good advice.

Thanks in advance….

Check out the guide http://www.perry-miniatures.com/pages.p ... form-guide

That would be "ok". Uniform Grey looks to be a bit too dark, making Wolf better, but I think both are too dark. You would be better off with a lighter grey. Or better yet you could use a light grey primer.
