Britons...

Postby steveD » Thu Nov 06, 2008 10:40 am

Will the birthday free boxes sale still be going on when the Britons are released? I'm sort of waiting now that I know they are coming as I'd rather have Britons than Gauls.

Ditto, and the same with Praetorians; will they be released before the sale ends? If they are, I have some rearranging to do...

I want to second the question. I also want to order under the birthday special offer and urgently need those Britons. Is there an approximate release date? Please do not make us suffer more and give us the opportunity to spend more money. It seems that while it's quite easy these days to buy whatever new car we have to queue up eternally to get the latest Warlord minis. Sorry for my lack of patience.

Hi guys,

Great to hear that you are all waiting for the new boxes

if it is possible i think you guys ar more eager than us at Warlord HQLaughing

We are hoping fingers crossed that they are going to be with us soon, so i think that it will be after the Birthday deal, but i am sure that I will be coming up with some cool release deals.

If you have any suggestions then fire away.

Gareth

Although, in historical circles nowadays, the term "Celt" for inhabitants of the British Isles and Ireland is fast becoming something of a misnomer. Celts were supposedly only from Continental Europe - not sure what the new terminology is to be, but Pict, Welsh or Briton for mainland UK seem to be gaining momentum. Not sure why these "experts" are changing their minds on the naming - anyone else have any ideas or know why?

I have seen the first Britons in the news section. Thank you for showing them. The idea with the markings (celtic tattoos) is great. Can't wait to include a horde of halfnaked tattoed savages in my army.
