Romans from the US

Postby johnm » Fri Nov 14, 2008 4:19 pm

Just received some plastic Romans from the US, and compared to Warlord Gsmes figures they are just blobs of plastic! They lack detail and are dark grey so you can't make out any fine detail. In future I'm sticking with Warlord Games.john

Well yeah, they're not great, esp the signifer/ cornicen bodys are pretty bad. However, a decent enough paintjob can make them look alright on the table. And they are dirt cheap..

I'll try to convert some into plastic auxiliaries Tongue out.

Cheers

That's a good idea. So I need metal spears, Aux shields and remove the plume from the helmet. :)john

Could it get any better?

And I think your chainmail is superior anyway. Guess I'll be waiting then…for the British

Undecided...the rub on transfers are quite nice though.

G'day,

Plastic Aux would be nice!

Hey SP you've done a good job with those other figs, but they are terrible quality compared to the WG legionaries. The chainmail looks more like a wooly jumper than armour!

Cheers,

Jim
