What do supports do? This is much better defined in HC. If you take a victory move are supports entitled to move too? What about a retire result? Must supports retire as well?

In BP Supports just add a +1 modifier to the combat result. If the fighting unit retires, the supports stay where they are. If the fighting unit breaks, the supports take a break test. More detail is on page 67 and for after combat page 71

It's a good reason for victorious units to sometimes stay put instead of following up, so they can retain the advantage of their supporting units.
