Postby paulsmodellingworkshop » Tue May 12, 2009 11:56 am

Yes, simple question. How do I get pictures onto posts? I am asked for a URL adress each time I try. Do I need my pictures to be remotely hosted? Thanks for anyones help.

Yes, you'll need an account on somewhere like photobucket.

I've been trying to link some pictures on using the url from some pictures I have on Facebook but it doesn't seem to be working. Do you not accept pictures from Facebook?

I think the problem is with the address of the image - I suspect that the forum software expects a ".jpg" ending to the image URL, which facebook doesn't do...

O.K I give up. How do you get an image on here?

I go to "Insert/edit image" on the tool bar, put what I'm assuming is the url address in and nothing but a box with a red cross in it appears. What am I doing wrong?

Do I need to put enries in all th eother boxes, dimensions border, vertical space etc?

This is what I'm putting in as the url address:
http://s910.photobucket.com/albums/ac310/Humbugged/?action=view¤t=IMG_3695.jpg

It's from Photobucket and ends in .jpg.

Help!
