May I ask were your casualties come from?

My finished celt army

G'day Holger,

Sorryfor not replying earlier, but i missed this post the first time round and it wasnt until I thought - Whats Holger up to? - that i checked out your old post and discovered 3 awesome impetus battle reports.

Thanks for taking time to write them up and take the photos. Excellent stuff!

It looks like a brilliant visual game.

Your mates romans look great too. Any chance of getting him to throw some photos on the forum?

Have you had any more games since that last stuning victory?

And whats next on the cards for Holgers Triumphant Celtic League of Extaordinary Gentlemen/Barbarian Horde?

Cheers,

Jim

The casualty figures are from Gripping Beast. Regarding the Romans I can ask their owner to provide more photos. We have not had more games but I will try to convince people to play more games with celts and romans. Perhaps I add some troops to convert the celt army into a Carthagian army (just adding some african and veteran spearmen and some cavalry). Another option would be to raise another Roman army thus allowing to play battles of the Roman Civil Wars.

Thanks for the comments regaring the battle reports. My productivity is currently on zero level as I'm relaxing at a beach in Indonesia, but I just finished reading the "The Winter King" by Bernard Cornwell so I am drawn deeper and deeper into the Dark Ages and the legends about King Arthur.
