This news item had me grinning from ear to ear! :D

I shall be watching this and thinking.......... I need some sort of fig's for my Pirate project as it's going to be around East coast North America as well as Caribbean and I need something to represent the locals. Anyone know when they will be available?

Here's a Northstar British ranger officer to lead their boxed set. I had lots of fun with the base again, same basic method as the Injuns but with a log added, so I took an overhead shot to show it off better. The little sprig growing from the rotting trunk is brass etched foliage from Hasslefree. Sorry the photos are grainy, but I think the batteries in the camera are on the way out.

I'm ashamed to say the wife has just pointed out that his right hand in the top pic looks like ... that is to say, it closely resembles a set of ... well, you can probably tell ...

Just don't shake hands with him.

Twig and berries? A baby's arm holding an apple? Two hard boiled eggs and sausage? Bait and tackle?

Oh. I get it. It looks just like a :saberfight lightsaber.

While I have no interest in the French and Indian Wars I am glad I took a look over your work Cubster!

The painting and basing is :bliss :bliss :bliss :bliss :bliss

The basing is something I will work on practicing. Especially after seeing how you made it work. The Forest/wilderness look is incredible and looks very natural for the scale

For me Perfect :thumbsup

Happy Painting,

Great..I would never have noticed and now it's the only thing I see when looking at the pics.
Still a nice (I think) miniature and the paint and basing job is as always totally outstanding!

Where those Rangers a militia unit?
Can anybody fill my FIW gaps, please

Cheers

Great work as usual Cubster! I imagine he is saying 'Oh look over there!, red shiny boots...that would impress the natives...'
While his right hand has spotted Alyson Hannigan...
