Thanks for the comments folk. Always very encouraging. :D

Weathering/dirt/ rust is mainly created using very fine sand.

They're superb Mike. I love the weathering on the soldiers. How long did they take?

Thanks loads folks :D

@bigmike I'm never sure how long each one took... These guys took me a bit longer because I was unfamiliar with them so I had to make sure I was getting everything the right colour. Normally about an hour and half or two per mini for uniformed rank and file, I can batch paint the base colours, but it really depends. Tank I did on and off over a few nights.

@fluffy05
No conversions on these, straight out of the box this time but there will be more to follow and some of them might get conversions. I have plans to do a few more tanks and some support plus more infantry.

I just use the paint, wash, highlight method, the same on the tank but more wages and dry brush.

I think its safe to say...you can paint model soldiers. At the risk of upsetting..your best so far? IMHO I think so.

So that is where you have been- You have been off the board for a while...either that or I spend too long on here! Really good stuff there Mikeland. I particularly like the detail on the bases.
