First base in a new project.

I can never seem to get the warlord pike and shot figures to look as good as other people can get them.

Sadly the site does chop photos quite brutally, so your models are coyly playing peek-a-boo at the moment. If you can reduce the size so the longest edge is about 600 long we should be okay.

They look spiffy... Lovely yellow on the coats... What paint did you use?

They look fine to me - maybe a bit clean - you might try a bit of a muddy coloured wash around them to make them look a bit grottier!

A dark shade of Golden Yellow, followed by a mid shade of sun yellow, and finnaly highlights of duskey yellow, all paints are from coat'd arms

very nice indeed, I kinda had my ECW armies sat to one side as I'd been doing them for a couple of years and moved on to other projects, but seeing the recent pics of figs here and elsewhere on the forum and the release of P&S has sparked my interest again :D
