Belzunce Infanterie

Postby Gunfreak » Sun Mar 25, 2012 9:26 pm

So I had sevral packs of Old Glory 7YW figures, I've had these for 3 years from a long dead project for Might and Reason.

But with Maurice comming out I thought I'd give them a try.

I never thought I could get OG to look this good, but to my suprise they came out rather well.

I made this unit for Maurice, but I also rememberd I had Black Powder and Argument of kings, so why not try those rules to. I've been looking for an army to use with last agrument of kings.

i dont know alot about 7yw, but i like the uniform colors with the purple cuffs. also i agree it can be difficult to get some og minis up to par with other companies, but you did a great job!

It's nice to see old school figs painted up nicely and being used for what they were intended rather than providing the foundations for the unpainted lead mountain.
Nice job

Thanks for the comments,

I didn't actualy use white I used 3 layers of light grey.

First a dark coats of Mid grey, then a mid coat of horse tone grey, and finnaly highlights of eleven grey, all 3 colors are coat d arms.

That gives you a sort of off white/natural wool color, it might be a little do grey and not enough white, the color might be more like that of WSS french, then 7YW french.
