Dark Ages (Anglo-)Saxons

Postby Sigur » Tue Mar 26, 2013 3:23 am

Hey guys,

I couldn't resist the allure of the Dark Ages any longer and got a bunch of Anglo-Saxons to use for all kinds of rulesets really. Just finished the first ten guys. I might tone down the shields a bit more, let's see about that.

What do you think of them ? The photo picked out the shield colours a bit strongly again but I think they're alright.

Are those transfers or hand painted shields? Squirrel me over, either way, great job! :thumbsup

I've been resisting the allure of GB but its awfully hard...

Those look great. I don't think I'd tone down the shields, they might not be true to life but artistically they are superb.

Gorgeous.

Good job Sigur! Even more tempted now towards getting me some GB plastics.
