The sawn off I think was supposed to be a normal short barreled shotgun, not actually sawn off, but the modelling wasn't too good and it looked a bit dodgy. So I just chopped off and rounded the butt and shortened the barrel so it looked like a sawn off.
I don't normally dry brush quite that heavily but as they were dusty cowboy types it looked quite fitting I think.

The drybrushing on them is very nice.
Cowboy gunmen. They might miss you with the gun (out of the movies most had been very bad shots) but the smell will kill you anyway.

Reminds me of that scene in Blazing Saddles in the big fight at the end when the town drunk grabs a guy and just breathes on him, knocking him out cold!
What do people think of "The Rules With no Name" that Foundry are selling. Any good?

They are good rules, fun, pretty easy. They have rules for campaigns. The book itself is gorgeous and has painting and terrain building guides. Having said that, it is pretty expensive. Look on Amazon and you can usually get it cheaper, or wait for one of Foundry's 50% off books sales.

Another set to check out is Blackwater Gulch. A free download though you can buy a hard copy as well:

The Legends of the Old West rules are worth getting, if you can find them. I am surprised WHH is out.

Very nice models Humbugged!

I agree with Grant, the LotOW rules are great fun, I have them and a number of gangs. Bases off GW's Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game, they are quick and easy to learn, and good for a laugh. Maybe not as historically 'gritty' as some might like, but I like them! :) Purchased mine in Paris of all places back in the summer of 2007, always meant to get the Alamo supplement to fight larger battles. Also because I built a sort-of Alamo myself! ;)

Someone on Amazon is selling Legends of The old West for £140-ish pounds!
Now, are they insane or is it actually that difficult to get hold of now?

Aye, some jokers put insane prices on their books on Amazon. I just shake my head and wonder if such fine optimism ever pays off.
