The centurion's body and his cloak are from the Gripping Beast plastic Saxon Thegns box.Ha! I am really enjoying myself tremendously here, couldn't wait to get home after work today to get on converting another two Vikings/ Saxons into stalwart Tungrians ready to give them Brittunculi a good old thrashing Laugh

Very nice S.P. it's good to see someone else using the Green Shield ! I painted my Auxiliaries just after christmas and used as my base coat G.W. Snot Green ! black wash, highlighted with G.W Scorpion Green. But mine were straight out of the box! I've since added the Plastiic Signifer and Cornicen from the Legionary box, made my own optio (Head conversion) and added a metal Centurion...the other metal Command figures went into the Legion to replace those transfered!!! The box art is good in pale blue but for me blue...............is the colour of the sea, so when i get my Marines there would have been issues!!!Anyway very impressed with what you have done here and it has certainly given me some ideas!I wish there were W.G. Plastic Cavalry too!
