To get into the mood for all the Roman goodness to come I painted some legionaries.
This time I am not using the dip but washes and against all better judgement not pennies but GW round bases and the 'new' LotR multibases.
Hope you like.
Cheers

Very nice, as ever. The LOTR multibases work pretty well I think.
Finally managed to get some pictures of my stuff up. Although the 95th rifleman is still awaiting approval in "show us yours" and "Army painter" but some of my old school napoleonic 40k ratlings are up.
I have to say, I think the result is actually better than with the dip.
Great work SP.
Thank you for sharing.
Superb. Very realistic. I can believe in those tough gritty Romans.
Thanks for your kind words guys!
I rather like them as well and they are as easily done as my old ones.
Hope I got time to do more soon.

I just need to get some more of GW's multibases
.
Cheers

Just posted a well done on the SD forun S.P. Will have to steal the standard bearer conversion for my army
Neil
That is a really good standard bearer conversion. I also like the idea of basing them up on LotR: War of the Ring bases.
Where is the head for the Centurion from????
