Pretty much the same as the last round except for facings and kilt of course. And I read that the drummers reversed their facings. Hope you like.

Hey great job!

You must have gone blind after painting those tartans.

Did it feel wierd spending that long looking at a man in what is essentially a skirt when it hasn't got any tartan?

Your tartans are well worth the effort you put into them.

Cheers,

Jim

They look great. If I was going to do Napoleonics (it might happen yet), I think I'd have to do highlanders very early on, so I got the worst part of the job (tartan) out of the way first. But I still haven't recovered from the mental scars inflicted by all the plaid and woad on my ancient Britons yet!

Thanks for the comments! Phil, like you, I wanted to get the tough job done first. Easiest tartan to test, toughest to slog through, and now on to the Gordon's to get to the finish. The rest of the units should be a piece of cake!

Jim, I didn't feel weird. Did you?

Nice job! All worth the extra effort, a painted regiment of highlanders is an awesome sight!

Keep'em coming

Cheers
