Very nicely done. I like your handpainted crosses.

I saw the box at my local shop this week but was able to resist. These devils had an extra table with a heap of the boxes so that everybody had to notice them. But I did not buy them, not yet. Fortunately they are not metal so my power to resist is stronger.

How do they compare in size? More like Warlord Romans or more like the larger 28 mm group?

I'd say they are sizewise more like the recent Warlord plastics.
Perry figures seem quite a good match too.
Smaller than GW obviously but not as small as Warlords plastic Romans.

I love this. Argh! you are making me want to start a crusaders army! The recent excellent doc on BBC2 and the Arn: Knight Templar movie wetted my appetite but this paintjob is beautiful. The handpainted crosses always look better than transfers anyway IMO and are like a little signature to the model. They beat any of my freehand anyway!
