Stug IIIG

Postby Comte Michel » Fri Mar 02, 2012 3:16 pm

A test piece for my new project, 15mm WWII. Haven't painted AFVs in this scale before so I thought I'd better try one before I start painting them in batches. Model is from Plastic Soldier.

Nice! I like the toned down Green and brown. What's the netting made of?

Thanks :) The camo net is surgical gauze soaked in watered down pva glue then poked into shape. You can get the stuff from Boots first aid shelf, or any other chemist I guess. Comes in a roll that will last you and your grandkids if they take up modelling too.

Very nice! However, that's a Stug III not a IV. Typo? ;)

Lovely job.
