The Documentary Thread

Inspired by the documentarythread in the TYW forum is was thinkin we could do a thread where we link to all sorts of military/history/militaryhistory documentaries and shows. I personally love to have some doc in the background while painting figs for that specific era. So if this thread already exists, please pardon me for starting a new one. If not, i think we will all enjoy it. Since i've started it I will contribute with one of the ones i really did enjoy.

An excellent documentary series based on Prof Hew Strachen's book of the same name.

I watched this when it first came out and it really did a great job on making me understand the war as a whole. Not as much of the ground level detail, but there are other books and documentaries that can help with that.

Still, highly recommended.
