Why do my photos cut off ?

Why do my photos cut off ?

Noticed when I am posting pics on here that the right hand side of the picture gets cut off ? How come as when I look at the source its fine ??

Anything more than 400-odd wide (I forget the actually measurement) it brutally chops off, for some reason.

If you upload to photobucket, then resize the picture to 680x400 before you post that seems to work fine for me.
