Thanks for the pics, Big Al!

I'll be taking a closer look at the blog, later as well.

Plastic Desert WW2 looks good...it is shame some people on other forums are already having a pop at the Perrys because they are not making exactly what they wanted

Thanks for the pics Al!
Looks like there are some rather interesting ancient plastics coming sometime soon...

They can ram it. Perry's do their mins as a labour of love and it shows in the quality. If that means we get some artistic attention-wandering from time to time then I for one am happy to accept that in lieu of so-so quality releases churned out every month.

SO, what's wrong with them? Look great to me.

You know what, don't bother. I can guess where those comments came from. Not worth the time.

28mm and Plastic is a poision combo in some of the more backward areas of the hobby. Whatever, more for ME! :D

Doesn't matter what a company makes - people love to complain!

The WW2 plastic Perry kits will be a raging success!

My only complaint is now I have to start gearing up for the Desert War.

I'm going to have to figure out how to do the hard edged camo now. Little worried here, but it's about time I try something new with the airbrush.

I have enough buildings, I think. Just need a board and everything else that goes with it. Not to mention the actual minis.

Then there's the research!

Life is good when these are the issues gnawing at you!

I'm thinking the same, something to do with masking tape would probably be useful.

Try Blu-tac. This guy seems to have good results with it

(scroll down to the 12 Feb entry)

Sorry but it's in Spanish, the pictures make the process pretty clear though.

You will get better results with masking tape for Caunter scheme. Blutac gives a softer edge, and Caunter is definitely sharp edged.
