Wow, it's already Friday. So it's the last day of our club's Easter-Painting-Week. For me this means I get up in six hours (Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrghhh, so soon?!), have a cup of coffee, drive the 25 km to the club room and paint until I run out of paints (very unlikely), miniatures (unlikely) or company (very likely at about midnight).

Well ... I picked up the keys to my shiny new house yesterday and will make preparations for the move today and go shopping for furniture tomorrow.

Moving in on Monday, and looking forward to unpacking my miniatures and finishing the ox cart project :D amongst other things ... many other things

Happy Easter!

Well 4 day weekend, the telly is to be avoided at all costs and I have a pile of minis that need painting... 8-)

Which means that I'm being directed towards the lawn mower... :x

I was threatened by the lawn - but a 10cm snowfall put an end to that.

Today turns out to be a clutter cleaning day - cupboards, garage, it's all needed. But also more work on the Baden Dragoons, and also my new Fallschirmjager and their "acquired" from the SS Sdkfz250/1. I removed the integral base so the tracks and wheels would fit. A lot of messy work that was. Sadly it has a concave (miscast) hood - but Paul has already promised a fix! Also I was missing the gunner. Odd. Oh well, as usual Warlord service is top-notch.

Also, I should report that my FJ were awesomely cast - beautiful, non-brittle metal, only had one MP40 barrel come off and it was really my fault. Compared to my last several boxes of metal, these guys were GORGEOUS.

Just painting up two lots of 15mm Australian mortar crews for my Blitzkrieg Commander army as I sip on a red wine and listen to a wargaming podcast. Heaven!

I pre-ordered my copy of P&S, as a reward for not throttling my Mother-in-Law who's over from Spain until Sunday. We've shown her around Namur and Nancy so far, and we're visiting Trier tomorrow. This means that I only have Monday to dedicate to painting :( but the Mo-Lo taxi work means I (should have) earned enough credit to be able to paint every weekend for the rest of the month.

So Monday I want to finish basing my Soviets, and finish the horses Royalist Cavalry, which should be doable.
