A very early start to Friday - 6 April Edition

I've done a grand total of five hours and fifteen minutes work this week and will be off until next Thursday when I shall perform the same. Seems great if it wasn't for the fact I'm not getting pai at all for this time off so I actually am and will be as poor as a church mouse paying of a Wonga loan and will remain in abject poverty for the next six weeks. so I can expect cosy nights in with porridge for tea.

On the upside, I've nothing to do but stay n and paint my backlog. I'm thinking now that the US plastics are out I'll do a colour comparison on all the different shades that make up the single colour standard of "OD3".

I'm also going to be cheeky and do a few push moulds from the old BAM metals to make GP and medic bags for my plastic yanks. Dinnae tell, though.

Well Plato surmised that everything 'supernatural' is simply a natural phenomenon we haven't yet explained. Thus witchcraft is simply the useage and direction of natural forces. This is the philosophy we get with today's Wiccans; it's all about the natural power of the Earth.

Aristotle surmised that everything 'supernatural' came from other wordly influences, especially demonic ones. Thus witchcraft was the useage of unnnatural demonic forces. This is the philosophy that led to witches in the middle ages being tried for heresy, because by definition a witch must have worshipped a demon to get her power, which is a denial of the power of God (a wizard, however, merely entrapped and forced demons to do his will, which for a while was enough to get them off!).

Neo-Platonic witches aren't half as much fun as cackling Aristotlean witches cackling and riding around on broomsticks.
