Still onboard

Postby Ubique matt » Thu Apr 05, 2012 12:57 pm

I'd just like to announce I'm still lurking around here and have just enjoyed a couple of bourbon cream biscuits. Not my particular favourite but I did nick them out of my boss's cupboard. ;)

Any chance of a dedicated biscuit board?

Regards,
Matt

@ Ubique matt- Good to see you are still lurking! I was only looking at your blog yesterday. I really like your pike and shott minis :D,especially the conversions. It seems I have converted some of my 'firing pose' musketeers in a similar way to yours, using the 'at porte' arms. Did you have trouble getting them to fit in this position? I had to use a bit of cut down sprue to lengthen the arms slightly. I can never miss an opportunity to convert some of an army as I feel you then have put a bit more of yourself into it.

No biscuits! You lot would just be teasing those of us who can barely get Jaffa Cakes.

Just kidding - the more knowledge of good biscuits the better. Makes the hunt exciting.

How about a cheese board?

With a thread title like this, it could be about ship's biscuits; given the choice, I'd go for the lesser of two weevils.

I'll get my coat.

@paulsmodellingworkshop: Might not be historically correct (Cochrane's biography is even more unbelievable!), but I think they're a cracking read; I got rid of all my other historical military novels a few years ago - but kept the Aubrey/Maturin books and (of course!) Flashman!
