The last post

Postby Colonel White » Thu Apr 05, 2012 12:52 pm

Hi guys.

I have been touched by a lot of your responses and just to make the record straight me and Parus are fine .

My projects at the moment are all 20mm and therefore I feel at the moment I can't really contribute anything to this forum. I have therefore decided to concentrate all my efforts on the Guild of Wargamers which is in the main a 20mm site of which many guys on there are ex military and have a vast knowledge of the projects I am trying to do. The disagreement with Paul ( who I bear no grudges) is a seperate side issue and did not reflect on my decision. Like everyone else he is entitled to his opinion (this is what forums are about) and we have moved on.

For me its more of a time issue as I can only get internet access whilst at work hence you can see my problem and therefore my decision has to go with my current projects. THe reason I felt I had to announce it is becasue I tend to get a high number of PMs( my inbox is always full!) of which I always respond to. Many of these are to do with Porctullis Wargames Emporium in my local town and others are tips on using the AP dip.So please no more PMs on either of these 2 topics ! ;)

I must admit I did handle this situation whole rather clumsily as I explained to Parus in a PM and have apologised to him and I also apologise to any of you guys for any distress caused by my clumsy actions but hope you now fully understand why I had to take this route.Leaving quietly didn't seem an ideal option! :D

Because many of you appear to be saddened by my exit I have decided I will pop in around Christmas time and say hello and share some tea and biscuits/mince pies. It will be probably a good time also to review my Projects as I do intend to return to 28s for my Ancients .

Sooooooooo instead of good by for good, its just goodbye for now

I will also miss Cubbys dry humour !

And Thanks for reading and I hope you understand

Good stuff, and have fun over there. Glad to hear it's not for good! You're good people CW!

Piers and his band at the Guild cause me to doubt my move to 28mm a little bit everytime I visit there. Outstanding work, period. Good thing for Warlord that I'm past the point of no return on the scale front.

See now I've lost all respect for him.
