I am calling it a day as well.

Postby Colonel White » Tue Apr 03, 2012 1:08 pm

After long deliberation I have decided to call it a day as well.

I just don't think the subjects are enough to warrant any reasonable debate . There doesn't appear to be any new ideas coming out and we all seem to end up knocking GW .

I just feel time will be better spent elsewhere .

Yes I will be leaving some good friends but TBH my interest in 28mm figures has waned as I want to concentrate on 20mm.

I will of course see some of you on the Guild ie Phil,Janner,NTM,Piers .

But for now its goodbye from me ;)

Bon chance.

And, because it is compulsory ...

As Al said, sorry to hear that too. Thanks for your advice and suggestions over the short time I've been posting here - would be good if you might keep us posted with your KGN activities from time to time, please ... ?

Right! Our club is the Sheffield and Rotherham Wargames club. When you come over to Triples, look us up. We are doing a Vietnam game. :)

Really sad you feel that way, I think compared to 90% of other wargames forum the subjects are good and GW ges off reasonably well. Seeing the number of ex GW staff involved in warlord and out of all the historical companies WG are the most likely to attract ex-GW customers who might be still a bit raw it is surprising we do t see more of it.

I was really looking forward to hearing about your massive D-Day campaign. I hope it works out for your side!

I understand the time constrains though.

I have really enjoyed our many chats, and have valued your advice. And if I am ever Bolton way I will be sure to pop into the shop, and hopefully see you again.

All the best.
