Or the famaous Sammy that was swimming in a lake at Dormagen. A brown caiman.

Samurai - this is a wargaming forum isn't it? I mean I haven't gotten lost and found myself at the comedy club or something

edit - I have not been offended by anyone or wish to cause offense (nor does Sammy) - in case of the sort of thing happening here that led to Teddies being launched elsewhere. :o

Big box of 15mm WW2 goodies is supposed to arrive today, so that's my evening pretty much sorted. That plus the little parking lot of Jeeps that are half painted.

I had a big feed of Chinese takeaway, and near the Chinese joint was a shop called "The British Shop". Remember last week I said the Brits live in clusters, well now it appears they are opening their own shops within these clusters. The poor Chinese will be run out soon. Anyway, I go in the shop and it's full of British food, drinks and lollies. I guess they miss their traditional food. So I buy a can of British Ginger Beer. Its called Old Jamaica Ginger Beer from some mob called Cott. Got charged 3 x the normal amount you pay for a can of cool drink. I have to admit, it tasted it good. Only downside is the size of the can. 330ml. Aussie cool drink is in 375ml cans. And that was my exciting night out and my observations.

Bit harsh to call Persh a 'cluster', I've not visited, but I hear it's quite nice ;)

@pbeccas That ginger ale? Best hangover cure ever, trust me. File that away for future reference.

That's two great tips in a week, Comte!

This is my Friday off - yay!

Friday plans: go see Hunger Games this afternoon. Wife wants time to do stuff.
But my real goal is to make 9 more Raupenhelm heads and build my Baden Dragoons. We are using one stand to a squadron for BP, so ten figures will be enough for the regiment.

Other plans - my eBay auctions end Sunday, so I need to pick up padded envelopes and such.

Weather is crap today lows of -14, snow, ice, dangerous driving conditions. But this is it - Saturday the big warm up starts!
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Walking Dead is great fun. Just finished Season 2 on AMC last Sunday. Terrific ending! You won't be disappointed!
