Urgent Jaffa Cake news!!

Postby Cubster » Wed Mar 21, 2012 3:00 pm

Double pack of Jaffa Cakes (24 cakes) are £1 in Sainsbury's, limited to 5 packs per customer!

Jaffa alert!
"You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me, it's a full time job." – Lt. Bromhead to Prince Dabulamanzi before the Battle of Rorke's Drift.

@Big Al- Sorry no, they are cakes. Biscuits go soft when stale, Cakes go hard. Jaffa Cakes go hard. You are allowed to buy some now for experimental reasons!! Hooray :) ;) Sorry everyone, the pendantry may be getting out of hand :geek:

Thanks for the Jaffa Cake tip off, Cubster.

Her Majesty's Customs and Excise also thought they were biscuits and hence subject to VAT so took McVities to court in 1991. The Government lost the case, hurrah for cake!

Regards,
Matt
