Pie Glorious Pie!!

Well, British Pie Week came and went....I had intended to make a nice cottage pie (Lamb is horribly expensive here) to celebrate but life got in the way and I forgot. :oops:

Today is a very rainy, and blah day and for some reason it reminded me of the pie, so tonight we will be having cottage pie!

This got me to thinking...since there are SO many Brits on this forum - what is(are) your favorite pie(s)?

There is a new shop opening up, about 20 miles from me, called 'Lil' Bit of Britain' and they are supposedly going to carry a selection of pies!

I like blueberry. Meat belongs on my barbecue, not in a pie crust. :mrgreen:
Take car. Go to Mum's. Kill Phil - "Sorry." - grab Liz, go to the Winchester, have a nice cold pint, and wait for all of this to blow over. How's that for a slice of fried gold?

Oddies' (local baker) meat and potato pie with mushy peas and red cabbage + pint of bitter :D

I know, I know, but I haven't time ti make a pastry one today! SWMBO will not even try kidneys, but I do make a great steak and mushroom pie!

That new shop is going to have Beef & Onion Pie, Cheese & Onion Pie, as well as Pork Pies. They're suppose to get more in as well.
