Ended up playing my son's INTERPRETATION of Pokemon last night. Funny thing is, they always seem to win when they make the rules 8-) .

Main thing is the boys had fun. I'll have to actually read the booklet to make heads or tails out of it.

Finished off with some beers, playing Dragon's Lair on my Ipad. Found it yesterday on the App store. Did THAT bring back memories!

Really impressed with your figures so far.
The reason Why Paul's Green stuff only takes 3 hours to prime is because he is nearer the equator than you so it is a lot warmer in Basingstoke ;)

Never been to Basingstoke, then? It's generally cold and wet :(

Gah Pokemon! My daughter is obsessesd with the little beggars. Mind you I asked her if she wanted to watch a documentary on tropical islands for her school rainforest project earlier and she replied that "Island rainforests have minimal understories but quite well developed canopies and emergent layers" or something to that effect. I'm supposed to be an ecologist but I can't believe I got out ecologied by an eight year old  She decided she'd rather stick glittery things on her fashion dollies instead... I bet she'll be able to out paint me within a year.

My claim to fame is that I was apparently the eight best player at Pokemon cards in the Edinburgh area in I think 2001.

Tell me about it! These kids are crazy smart these days!

I was reviewing fractions the other day to prepare for a class I need. Mind you, this was at the same time my 7 year old was learning them for HIS class. He said something along the lines of "Don't you know fractions YET? Didn't anyone ver teach you THAT?"

WHIPPERSNAPPERS!

When I was doing volunteer work for GW and running demo games, I went to a shop about 2 hours from my house. It was hilarious. The store owner and his wife were wearing the doctor's coats, all Pokemoned up, and doing a tournament. Their kid was just huge on the "circuit" or something. It was awesome!

My kids Pokemon addiction is temporarily subdued by Moshi Monster fever...
My youngest daughter was just running around screaming she's got a Moshling and it's sooo cute...?!

Why can't they be normal and paint toy soldiers like Daddy?
Totally beyond me!

Cheers
