Yay! another Friday, nearly clocking off time. Shopping, home, and then dial-in Chinese (a very naughty treat) and a DVD... probably too tired to do any minis... but then again I have all my new Warlord goodies to start on. Have a good weekend folks.
"I've been a frickin' evil doctor for 30 frickin' years! So cut me some frickin' slack."
A hour ago I got a packet from UK. No miniatures. "Just" another old Officer's cap for collection.
Still painting Dystopian stuff but a nice 28mm couple came across, finished today.
A neighbour asked for some help, bringing heavy stuff with her daughter in her apartment that evening. My poor back. Guess I need some medical Malt later......
Now this week's beast of a newsletter is behind us I can turn my attention to, er, next weeks beast of a newsletter...
Other than that I'll be working on the masters for the British 18/25 pdr gun and Guy Ant truck. A bit of World of Warcraft, watching John's 'They were not divided' DVD and probably popping over to the Hammerhead show on Sunday in Newark.

"Leap, fellow soldiers, unless you wish to betray your eagle to the enemy. I, for my part, will perform my duty to the republic and to my general." -The Aquilifer of the 10th legion A link to my Blog: http://theminiatureblog.wordpress.com/
Chicken and chips and then watching the U20's rugby. Should be a nice warm-up to Sunday's fun ... I hate it when Wales are expected to win big ... it never quite seems to go to plan.
"You're a big man, but you're in bad shape. With me, it's a full time job." – Lt. Bromhead to Prince Dabulamanzi before the Battle of Rorke's Drift.
Just about to start making dinner....Chicken carbonara!!!! not very original...and then some wine
Might do some work on figures later but i think it will be tomorrow.
I will update the work on Leonidas...who took a dive off my work table yesterday at the same time the greek govt accepted the new bail out conditions.....smashing himself to pieces.......read into that what you will!!!!!
Started the warlord Boudicca for the school battle field scene...she is a fantastic sculpt........she reminds me of Alex Kingston and my hairdresser Jo!!!!!! She's getting red hair as a consequence of that...don't know if boudicca had red hair or not......I'm into Rome and Ancient Greece rather than Ancient Britons...all that wattle and daub isn't for me ...I like the finer things in life.....hot water being one of them
I.O. I love all your Sci Fi stuff...I have wanted to get into that for some time, it is proving difficult to resist seeing all your air ships and boats.
I wish everyone a safe and happy weekend, take it easy have fun, and chill out
