ACW formations

Guys im going to use BP for ACW and am wondering re the formations used so i can apply to BP.

Hi grecian1959 we use most of the formations that are mentioned within the rules, March Column, Line, Skirmish Order and Mixed Formation, however, we do not use Square, Attack Column.

Thanks Andy that was kind of what i was thinking myself-no attack column.But do you allow infantry units to form total skirmish formation or only when entering woods as the rules suggest? Peter
