So.....we have done a lot of talking and stuff in the interwebby thigamajig.
When do we all meet up to drink beer (or tea)?
For my money it drops two ways...
We have an exclusive, 'come if your in the forum'
Or a
meet up at a big show, 'so there's lots to look at'
Either way it has to be far enough in advance to plan for it.
How about
Salute 2012?
Looks to be loads going on there...and an interesting Roman game developing!
There are even flights to London from Berlin I believe
Of course, I've not put this through the entertainments comittee or the finance comittee...

Love to go, probably early for my big trip next year - coming over in September, likely to be in London, Nottingham, and then that place where HMS Victory sits, prior to France and places east and south.

Funnily enough, I am sounding out a few of my club mates about going to Salute this year. I think it might happen despite the olympics and everything. Anyway, I reckon that is a good idea. Going to have to make up some name badges or something for identification!

We used to have really nice pins for the SD forum members a couple or so years ago but maybe some home made ones will do as well. I suggest the Warlord Games logo and the forum name on it.

Wouldn't it be nice if Paul & Co could join us (well, of course they would be at Salute anyways ) and maybe they could even give us a little exclusive preview of things to come?!

Yes, but they are flights. No problem with the flying. But the ground procedures.

Not to mention the money. For the travel cost I can buy a nice army, even with tufts if I would decide to...... .
