Merry Christmas Paul, Sir Rick, and all the Warlord staff.

I got to open my Architects of War Jungle Village box set. Really nice stuff.

Happy x-mas for all the Warlords. Hope the man in red brought you a lot of ideas for 2012. ;)

Got nothing in 28mm. But an original 1879 made officer's serge coat is nothing to nag about. 8-)
Good to see the original colour needed for the Zulu war time miniatures.

Hope you all got peaceful times with family and friends.

You asked SP, so I have to.... .

My girlfriend got it for me. :)
1878 Highland officer's serge frock pattern. It has still the pre 1881 buttons. It was made for a 92nd Officer, the Gordon Highlanders. Coming out of a collection of genuine items, I got some named items out of it before.

The flash makes it only slighty brighter, it is made in the correct officer's colour that was brighter than the OR's one.
In 1879 the regiment was out "playing" with the Afghans. Awfull X-mas for them outside Kabul.

Hope you all have a better one than they had.

You know, Sir Rick has a nice ring to it. Perhaps we should start a campaign to have him knighted, for contributions beyond the ordinary to the world and to that of the miniature wargamer.

To Sir Rick!
