THat appears if correct to be a huge range of paints. I havn't counted them all up but that looks like an expansion of the range as opposed to contraction . :?

As regards existing colours don't panic becasue the Vallejo Game range shadows the existing GW range. Just the metallics produced by Vallejo iMO arn't quite as good but they ain't bad.

It does look like a similar system to the Foundry and just wondering if they are the same paints?

As an ignorant innocent, it seems to me that this business model is more suited to smaller cottage industries rather than global ones supplied from central locations.

Yes I agree with cubsters point entirely.

To be honest if GW were a football team the fans would be chanting........"You don't know what you're doing" at the manager.

Are these new GW paints going to be a triad system? Looks that way?

That's what I'd thought as well, but bigger companies like Argos seem to be doing it now (lots of things need ordered in). I guess it saves them shipping and storing stuff around the country until it's actually needed.

As for the paint name changes; I'm sure if you go into a store and ask for the old paint name they'll be able to give you a more or less compatible paint with the new name, though the name change only really makes sense if they are changing the entire paint system.

Holy crap that's a lot of paint. On the upside, since GW are pretty much the only paints I can reliably get hold of locally at least I get a wider choice now. And maybe they will dump their crappy bottles and go for droppers. I'm off now to stock up on Devlan Mud. You know. Just in case...
