New: Architects Of War Miniatures!

The new releases come thick and fast from the boys and girls at Architects of War and this week we have even more for you! It’s a mixed bag of miniatures terrain and animals this week. Probably best if you check them out for yourself though…

Chickens And A Fox

Chickens and Foxes

A complete game in a blister! Chase the chickens with the Fox! Chase the Fox with the Rooster! Roll to lay eggs! Well okay, maybe not. But you do get a sly fox, 4 chickens, 3 chicks, and a rooster. Perfect for skirmish games and loot markers.

Pigs

Oink! Oink! Pigs. Well they are pigs. We don’t know what else to say really. Everyone needs them to chase, loot, add bacon flavor to a game, etc. You can paint them for any period. Just look up pigs on a search engine. I did and now know much more than will ever be necessary about the little porkers.

Pig Sty

Architects of War Pig Sty

This Pig Sty model holds your rascally miniature pigs in check and keeps them safe until you can get them to market. It is modeled to be rough sawn or even split timber and is therefore suitable for conflicts from about 1400 AD to present day.

The pig sty is an excellent and evocative item for skirmish gaming. Pigs are nervous, yet aggressive, creatures. In a ‘sneak attack’ on a farm or fortress with a pig sty, the pigs are more likely than not to squeal at the approach of attackers giving away the surprise. A foraging party trying to heard the pigs through the gate and back towards their own lines while under fire from the enemy would be interesting as well. The fenced enclosure is a dandy, if smelly, obstacle to defend in larger games and adds a lot to a village fight. (Pigs not included!)

Wood Set Without Scenic Trees

Tree Bases

This “Woods Plate” is a deceptively simple and handy item to have on the gaming table. Sculpted with lots of detail and very robust, they make an excellent stand for your trees that looks a lot better than just a flocked or painted disk. Each one has several nicely sculpted ‘root bases’ you can use to mount Woodland Scenics Ready Made trees or use your own. Don’t hesitate to try them with a bit of snow and some ‘bare’ trees for winter conflict. Note: trees aren’t included – these are baseplates.

Raw Bsaes

This Woods Set includes 4 different, detailed resin bases and a pipette for applying flock.

Blown By The Breeze

Breezey Models

This versatile Character pack provides some colorful civilians, villains, and heroes to your American Civil War collection. Like “Red Budder”: This scoundrel is both a blockade runner and a spy. He can charm any man or woman to his will with the single exception of the devastatingly beautiful Crimson O’Riley, the love of Red Budder’s life and the one thing he seemingly can’t possess.

American Uncivil War Range: Sons Of The South and Damn Dirty Yankees

Architects Of War Terrain

Exciting new line of characterful miniatures compatible with other popular brands! First two releases cover Sons Of The South and Dirty Damn Yankees! Let’ s meet some of the gang:

The Brave Captain DaringLost his arm at First Manassas and even though his coat has been pinned back on the left side, he is still fighting for the South as a Militia captain. His one good eye misses nothing- Yankees on the horizon or shirkers in his unit.

Architects Of War Terrain

Drunk Billy Bats Fond of the bottle and a dead eye shot with a pistol, Billy Bats survived the war and headed West like so many other young men after it was all over. He was killed in 1873 in Dodge City after being run over by a manure wagon while laying drunk in the street.

Why not head to the Architects Of War section to see what other great terrain and gaming accessories we have to offer!
