Our next plastic boxed set is now ready for pre-order!
Featuring French Line Infantry in uniforms ideal for battles from 1806 right through to 1814 (as the uniform persisted until that point despite a new design being introduced in 1812).
This plastic boxed set is released early September (pre-orders will be sent out earlier if at all possible!).
The cover art has, as ever, been produced by Peter Dennis. We think this is one of Peters best pieces of Warlord artwork (nothing to do with a unit of Frenchmen being mown down by a volley of musket fire from His Majesty’s brave redcoats in the background…).
Sculpted by our own Wojtek (did we mention that he’s Polish?), these glorious Napoleonic War French Line Infantry are perfect for use in games set during the most glorious period of Napoleon’s reign. Facing off against Russians, Austrians and Prussians as well as taking on the British, Spanish and Portugese on the Iberian Peninsular.
One of the key features of this boxed set is how easy they are to build. Comprising a body, head and backpack, they’ll be ready to paint in no time at all! As you will see from the photos of the 3-ups here, there are heads and packs allowing you to add in Voltigeurs and Grenadiers as you wish. Never has it been easier to field large battalions of Napoleon’s Line Infantry!
Released early September, the boxed set contains 32 miniatures:
- 28 plastic French infantry (including options for adding Grenadiers and Voltigeurs)
- Metal command group (2 officers, drummer and standard bearer)
- Standard poles and finials
- Full colour background leaflet containing several flags.
For those of you man enough to want several boxes of these lovely miniatures we have two special offers for you:
