Gallery: WAMP Painting Competition Winners
Recently those fine fellows at WAMP ran a painting contest based around our miniatures. Check this gallery out to see the fruits of their labours and who walked away with the prizes!
Walking away with the top prize is forum-dweller Paul Cubbin AKA ‘Cubster’, with his Marquis of Montrose diorama. Aside from the exceptional standard of painting Paul has chosen the models well and put a lot of time and thought into the basing of the piece. Well done, sir!
Coming in second place in the themed category ‘Charge!’ is Dave Jackson (AKA Undave on the Warlord forums) with his unusual take on the theme! Something unusual and done well is always welcome.
In third place was Mike Poole with his English Civil Wars command group. subtle, natural painting style and an eye for detail bags Mike his prize.
An honourable mention needs to go two other entrants – have a gander at their entries here:
Well done to everyone who took part – we’re looking forward to running another painting competition with the chaps at WAMP in the future!
